4th Annual Carlos Gardel Awards

Tuesday
"Bailongo De Los Martes"
at the "The Tango Room"
9:00 PM - Midnight

A space to dance or socialize with one hundred of your best Tango friends. Whether you are into ‘milonguero’, ‘tango nuevo’, or simply want to pick up a few moves, the bailongo (‘a place to dance’ in the Argentinean slang called lunfardo) has all the elements to make for a highly satisfying night of tango: a variety of styles and levels, a number of good dancers (with a decent gender balance) willing to dance with everyone, and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The night is DJ'd by Edmundo, who brings a wealth of knowledge and good taste to the rare and fine art of playing great, danceable tangos, milongas and vals from the 30's through today.

Admission: $5
